i29th July 2008Gosh, it's a difficult date to remember. Lol. Anyway, this entry is for a special friend on this special day. Some famous guy once said:
"Love, the concoction, is probably 1-part sweetness and 9-parts bitterness."
True, perhaps. But no one said that the 9 parts of bitterness would last for a longer duration than the 1 part of sweetness. For all you know, the 1 part sweetness is like a super duper concentrate of cane sugar extract, the kind which leads to emotional diabetes. =)
Plus, you can probably obtain bitterness from various sources, but the last time I checked, sweetness in life comes only from love, whatever its form. (be it kinship, friendship...etc)
